Finding Undergraduate Research Experiences

We encourage undergraduates to engage in research with NeuroNET faculty. As a neuroscience program at a major research university, high quality research opportunities are available for students that we expect willshape and define their undergraduate experience. Neuroscience Major

More than 600 undergraduates at the University of Tennessee Knoxville are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. The interdisciplinary major is administered by the Psychology Department and includes classes in departments such as Psychology, Biochemistry and Cellular & Molecular Biology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Philosophy.

Advancement of Neuroscience Club

The neuroscience club seeks to build a vibrant community for neuroscience students by hosting seminars, panel discussions, journal clubs, and social activities. They also host outreach activities during Brain Awareness Week, which is a global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science.
