Research Training

The NeuroNET Research Center, together with the broader UT Knoxville community, provides a rich training environment in the brain sciences for students and faculty alike. The technical and conceptional training of our students and faculty is a critical component of our mission and is essential for modern neuroscience research. NeuroNET extends the training students receive in their home department by hosting seminars, organizing workshops and retreats, and providing travel and research awards. We believe that transformative neuroscience research requires an inclusive training model that brings together people from different disciplines and with different backgrounds and experiences.
