Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Neuroscience (IGMN)

The graduate minor in neuroscience is an interdisciplinary program established to complement and extend training at the Master and PhD level. The program is designed to provide students with additional opportunities to gain expertise in advanced neuroscience concepts and computational approaches.

Summer GRA Awards

Graduate research assistantship (GRA) awards intended to strengthen and extend neuroscience research performed by graduate students during the summer. Research projects may involve a collaboration between multiple labs, a collaboration between faculty and student in a single lab, or an independent project initiated by a graduate student.

Travel Awards

Travel awards are available to support post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduates to travel, present work, and participate at scientific conferences. Awards are based onfinancial need and relevance of the student’s participation to enhancing neuroscience research and professional development.

Neurocomputation Workshop

NeuroNET hosts a summer workshop providing an overview of computationally intensive neuroscience methods and approaches. This is a hands-on workshop in which trainees have opportunities to work with sample data using R, Python and MatLab. Trainees also receive practical instruction on topics such as EEG data analysis, fMRI and fNIRS methods, and machine learning for genomics and proteomics.
