Research interests and approaches: My laboratory works on various aspects of infectious diseases and host-pathogen interactions that are directly related to human and animal health. In specific, my research emphasizes vector-borne viral diseases involving flaviviruses as pathogens and ticks/mosquitoes as the primary vectors of medical importance.
